HAS Tandem Axle Rear Air Suspension

Hendrickson’s HAS™ 40K/46K air suspensions provide excellent on- and off-highway performance, ride quality, and cargo protection. Both HAS 40K and HAS 46K are approved for use with lift axles and up to 25 percent off-highway operation. In addition, the HAS family of suspensions is available with optional EDGE System to help reduce driveline vibration.

1. Contact Hendrickson or vehicle manufacturer for applications that may exceed Gross Combination Weight Rating (GCWR) and Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR) approvals
2. Installed weight includes complete suspension, torque rods, axle and frame brackets and all hardware 
3. Site travel rating – operators using vehicles equipped with liftable pusher or tag axles must not exceed published ratings. Site travel ratings  are limited to no more than five percent of vehicle operation at speed not to exceed five mph. Liftable pusher or tag axles should only be raised (or unloaded) to improve vehicle maneuverability in site applications or when vehicle is empty. Job-site travel ratings are consistent with published axle manufacturer’s limitations. Axle and suspension site travel specifications must not be exceeded.
4. Not approved with trailer belly lift axles
5. No add-on lift axles
6.  Only 1 lift axle allowed, 50,000 pound max load on suspension for site travel rating
