SOFTEK Integrated Monoleaf Suspension and Steer Axle System

SOFTEK® combines the lightweight STEERTEK™ axle with monoleaf spring technology and a traditional axle clamp group design, offering commercial fleets increased payload capacity and operational efficiency. Integrated Air Disc Brake (IADB) knuckles are available to remove even more weight from commercial vehicles. The SOFTEK system is designed for heavy-duty truck and tractor applications with rated capacities of 12,000 to 14,600 pounds.

SOFTEK is rated for up to 10% off highway, other applications must be pre-approved by both Hendrickson and vehicle manufacturer. This system is anti-lock braking system (ABS) ready. STEERTEK NXT is compatible with industry standard wheel ends and brakes. Contact Hendrickson or vehicle manufacturer for availability.

1. Suspension weight includes frame hangers, main springs, bushings, shocks, upper shock brackets and axle attachment hardware. Weight may vary depending on vehicle. Contact Hendrickson or vehicle manufacturer for final weight.

2. Axle weight includes the axle beam, knuckle/steering arm assemblies and tie rod assemblies (brakes not included).

3. Axle beam drop is measured from the king pin intersection to the top of the axle beam.
